Privacy Policy
Effective October 29, 2026
This policy explains what information The Contents Factory Media, LLC (“CF Media,” “we,” “us”) collects through thecfmedia.com and in the course of our work, and what we do with it. We’ve tried to keep it short and plain.
What we collect
When you contact us. If you fill out the contact form on our website, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, business name and website. The form sends this information to our customer relationship management system (Zoho CRM). If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
When you’re a client. Clients may receive a private link to an onboarding form. Your answers are saved in your own browser as you go, so you can come back later, and are sent to our systems (hosted by Zoho) when you submit them. We use them only to deliver the work you hired us for.
Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
What we don’t do
- We don’t use analytics tools, advertising trackers or tracking cookies on our website.
- We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
- We don’t share your information with advertisers.
How we use information
We use the information we receive to reply to you, to provide and manage our services, to send you information you’ve asked for, to run our business (for example, billing and record-keeping), and to comply with the law.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for that purpose. These include Zoho (CRM and business systems), Google (email and documents, and the web fonts used on some client pages) and our web hosting provider. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Google user data
We use internal tools, built on Google’s APIs, to work with Google accounts that we own: Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Tasks. These tools read, create and send email and files in those accounts so we can run our business, for example by drafting and sending client emails and saving documents.
- We use this data only to provide and improve our own services and operations.
- We don’t sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to others except as needed to run these tools, to comply with the law, or with your consent.
- We may use AI assistants to help us work with this data on our behalf, under their business terms. We don’t use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
- Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing info@thecfmedia.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you no longer want to hear from us, just tell us.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
